OASW Commemorates International Holocaust Remembrance Day

January 27, 2022

Today OASW commemorates International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

Guided by the United Nations theme of “Memory, Dignity and Justice,” we honour the memories of the 6 million victims of the Holocaust, and the resilience of survivors and all generations affected by this genocide.

OASW condemns the rise in antisemitism both in Canada and abroad and we remain committed to denouncing all acts of violence and hate, and advancing human rights, and social justice. We stand with our Jewish members and the broader Jewish community to remember and vow, “never again.”
