A regular feature of Social Work Week every year has been the identification, interviewing and profiling of Inspirational Leaders on the Association's website. The individuals selected represent a positive role model to social workers and social work students and exemplify OASW's theme for Social Work Week March 6-12, 2017.
The theme for Social Work Week 2017 is: "Social Workers: Real Expertise. Real Life. Real Impact."
The recipients of the Inspirational Leaders Awards for 2017 are: Dr. Peter Donahue (
