Wilfrid Laurier University: 30 in 30 Award

In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Wilfrid Laurier University Graduate Students' Association (GSA), 30 former or current graduate students are being recognized, who best exemplify a life of leadership and purpose in one or more of the following categories: 

• Advocacy/social justice
• Community-Building
• Personal wellness/wellness in others
• Professional development/ lifelong learning
• Research; and Volunteerism. 

A formal recognition ceremony took place on November 9, 2017.
About OASW
OASW is the voice of social work in Ontario. It is a voluntary, provincial, non-profit association representing approximately 5,200 social workers. All practicing members have a university degree in social work at the bachelor's, master's or doctoral level. OASW works actively to speak on behalf of social workers and advocate for the improvement of social policies and programs directly affecting social work practice and client groups served.
